Mastering Australian Wine Online

This online wine course is designed for people who want to learn about the Australian wine industry. The course covers in depth information of all the major wine growing regions as well as discussing Australian wine history, viticulture, winemaking and future trends.

Students will have access to an online wine tutor and will be expected to taste recommended Australian wines during the course and submit tasting notes for review. There are practice quizzes to undertake in preparation for an online multiple choice test at the end of the course. 

The course follows a weekly structure and there is an optional 2 hour online class each  evening which is recorded so students can watch if unable to attend at that time. This is in addition to the extensive course content available 24/7 on the Mastering Australian Wine website.

Students are required to purchase their own wine.

This course is suitable for members of the hospitality or wine industry and wine hobbyists who wish to gain comprehensive knowledge of the Australian wine industry.

  •  Australian viticulture and winemaking
  • Recommendation of classic wines to try
  • Knowledge on all Australian Geographical Indications (GI’s)/regions within the following states:
    • NSW
    • Victoria
    • South Australia
    • Western Australia
    • Tasmania
    • Queensland
Please note: 

For students outside of Australia looking to enrol into Mastering Australian Wine you will need to select  “Temporary Visa Holder” during the on line enrolment process. This will then allow us to contact you and arrange your correct enrolment. You do not need to hold a visa to study online with us.
